However you come to worship — quiet reflection, hands raised, or somewhere in between — there's a service here for you. We offer two distinct styles each Sunday, both rooted in the same Wesleyan tradition of grace, scripture, and community.
The Table Service - 9:30 am A casual worship service with music led by our Praise Team and a sermon that leads into an interactive conversation about our faith. This service feels like a combination of a praise music service and a small group Bible study. It's an environment that builds relationships. Traditional Service - 11:00 am Our traditional worship service features a Chancel Choir. This engaging service features familiar hymns and prayers of our faith. As United Methodists, we follow the calendar of the Christian year while the sermons are taught in practical themes. We experience God's grace together as we celebrate each week. Communion We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month at both services. All who seek to know God are welcome at the table — this is Christ's table, not ours. Kids & Worship Children's programming runs during both services, so parents can worship while kids learn age-appropriate lessons of their own. Our Chancel Choir is a wonderful group of adults of all ages and walks of life. This fun musical family prepares and shares an anthem each Sunday at the 11am service. It's opportunity to allow God to use us to touch the hearts of the congregation and bless us. Each Easter and Christmas, talented musicians join the choir in full orchestra. Members of the congregation who play instruments often accompany the choir. Join the Chancel Choir in room A102 on Wednesday nights August-June at 7pm. |

Ready to lead.At Acworth United Methodist Church, we tend servant hearts. Serving in worship or in missions is the heartbeat of our community. Being a part of the service through music, greeting visitors, serving communion, praying for each other. Teaching children, leading a small group, serving in our food pantry or with packing snacks for our partner schools.
