It is the privilege of Acworth UMC to serve you before, during and after the loss of a loved one
Services can be held at the church, at a funeral home, or at a graveside, depending on what the family prefers. The church is experienced in working alongside most funeral care providers in the area, whether burial, cremation or a simple remembrance service is desired. Families of members are encouraged to contact an AUMC clergy member or the church office as soon as they are comfortable doing so. If the deceased has worshiped at AUMC recently or in the past, and the family would like to request that an out-of-area or offsite memorial service details be conveyed to the congregation, please email or call the church office. If you wish to have one of our pastors lead a memorial service offsite, please email them or call the church office at 770.974.3312 as soon as possible and before finalizing plans. The church office is open from 9-5, Monday-Thursday. |
