Commonly Asked Questions

What is service like?
Sunrise Easter Service 7:00 am
The Table Service 9:30 am
Traditional Service 11:00 am
Sunrise Service is held outdoors overlooking Lake Acworth. It's a reflective and hopeful service with praise music and a message of hope to greet us at sunrise. Be sure to bring a lawn chair and dress casually & weather appropriate for this service!
The Table is our casual service. We start with music led by our Praise Band and a short sermon that leads into an interactive conversation about our faith. It's an environment that builds relationships.
Traditional Service is an engaging worship service featuring a Chancel Choir, familiar hymns & prayers of our faith. On Palm Sunday there is also a Brass Quintet, and on Easter we add an Orchestra. Music is a beloved part of our worship!
As United Methodists, we follow the calendar of the Christian year. The weekly sermons are taught in series format with practical themes that are relevant to our lives. We experience God's grace together as we celebrate each week.
What should I wear?
We're not intimidating. In all services you'll find a mix of casual and dressier styles. You will feel comfortable wearing whatever makes you feel best. For the Sunrise Easter Service, most people dress casually. (Don't forget a portable chair for that service!)
Is there a place for my kids?
We want children to feel loved and accepted as a vital part of our church family. Children are welcome in church service. We love the sounds of children who are growing their understanding of our magnificent God and learning to worship. Ask an usher for an activity pack if your children wish to stay with you during service. If you have a sleepy or restless child, also have an area in the back of both worship spaces with rocking chairs to help you and your children feel comfortable.

Nursery care for ages 0-PreK is provided during all Sunday morning worship services in room C202.
