A Place to Belong, Not Just Show Up.
Middle and high school are hard years to figure out who you are. NextGen Youth is where students at Acworth UMC do that figuring-out together — with leaders who show up for them and a faith that actually makes sense of real life. NextGen Youth gives them space to ask honest questions, build friendships that last, and start owning a faith that's theirs — not just their parents'.
Deeper conversations, real accountability, and a community that walks with students through everything middle and high school throws at them — college decisions, relationships, identity, pressure.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH BOOK STUDY
On Wednesdays, youth have a book club led by Youth Director Matthew Martin. We're reading Winning the War in Your Mind for Teens by Pastor Craig Groeschel. This book is a practical guide to rewire your brain, overcome negative thinking patterns, and embrace God's truth for a joyful, peaceful life. This is a great topic as we get back in to the busyness and pressure of the school year! |
New to NextGen Youth? No pressure to know anyone or anything — just show up. Contact our Youth Director with any questions, or [see what's coming up] on our events calendar.
