The Kids on the Hill Choir (1st - 5th grades) is actively involved in writing their Spring Musical which will be presented on May 18. The children have decided on a theme, are in the process of writing their own lines, and have begun learning the music which they will sing with it. This is a completely new idea in choosing a program for children's musicals, and seems to have the resounding approval and enthusiasm of all the children in the Choir!
We can't give away all the secrets, but it seems to be a nautical theme in which every child will have at least one or more lines to say. The enthusiasm and energy we can see in their Wednesday rehearsals indicates that every child is excited to have such a unique and meaningful role in the production they will present. Ms. Sonya Peebles is doing a wonderful job with these children! So, this is your chance to get a "heads up" and put May 18, at the 11am service on your calendar. You will not want to miss this!!!

The Chancel Choir is preparing for Holy Week and Easter. On Palm Sunday there will be a string orchestra and woodwinds to present a Passion Sunday service. The focus of the service will be to examine the infinite love God showed for us through the suffering and sacrifice of His Son and what all of that means to us in our daily lives. Then on Easter Sunday morning we will all celebrate the resurrection and Christ's victory over death. We will have a brass section to lend a majestic spirit to our service with choir and congregation. The choir and brass will also offer a joyous tribute to Christ's amazing love, and His wondrous resurrection.
The Choir has openings for new members to join and for former members to return. We are in the early stages of the learning of our music so this would be an ideal time for you to join (and for former members to come back.)

The Celebration Singers for Senior Adults is active always on the go and having a marvelous time! They would love to have new members and welcome any and all who wish to join. You don't have to read music, you will never be put on the spot, and we just love to sing. Most of what we sing is sacred music that we sing for church services, but we also sing the old favorites from popular tunes just for fun too! Come on and see how much we all enjoy it Wednesdays at 3:30pm.
