Drive out Cancer
The Cancer Care Ministry of AUMC has been providing Transportation to people in the community who need rides to and from their doctor, chemo, and/or radiation appointments. This has grown to the point that the few faithful people of the Cancer Care ministry must frequently decline. If you can periodically drive a person in need to one of their appointments (and are
willing to do so on occasion), please call either Teresa Sanford or the AUMC office. We would love to have a list of potential drivers to continue this much needed ministry.

MUSIC MINISTRY

All of us in the Music Ministry are very happy and excited to learn that the sanctuary will soon be getting some major sound system upgrades. The new improved sound system will give us clarity and uniform coverage throughout the room. Something which has been lacking for a long time.

For example, the Kids musical now will have even better amplification of the Kids and better balance with the accompaniment. The Chancel Choir services at Christmas and East-er which involve a full orchestra will have better balance and definition. Things like these as well as the spoken word of the sermons, readings, and prayers will have better definition and now a uniform coverage of sound in the whole room.

We are very grateful to the Ross and Gail Tiller Fund for the generous gift which made this possible, and to the Trustees for adding what was necessary to finish the project in the right way.

We will all enjoy a sound system which will allow us to hear better and appreciate more our worship services and all activities held in our beautiful sanctuary
