The Children's and Family Ministry at Acworth UMC finds many opportunities to serve the community. We lend a hand to Acworth Parks and recreation during their community Easter Egg Hunt by providing Christian crafts and activities; this year we will be providing a live Nativity Scene in downtown Acworth during their annual "Santa is Coming to Town" activity, and also provide free popcorn to the community. We also send our 5th graders to MUST and to the Roberts School during the week of Vacation Bible School in the summer to help pack summer lunches, pick up the grounds, build bird houses, and abything else that is needed. This gives the kids a opportunity to be exposed to mini-missions projects as well as help our community.

 The Children's and Family Ministry at Acworth UMC have many more opportunities to celebrate our new lives through Jesus Christ! We offer many activities for the special seasons throughout the year, such as a Fall Festival, Family Christmas Eve Service (early), an onsite Easter Egg Hunt, and more.
