Michelle King Arnold-
Born in Atlanta, GA, but spent most of her life in
North Carolina until her hubby-to-be, Keith, (ex East Carolina University
football team Center) whisked her back to Georgia.
Michelle and Keith wed
in 1992 and started their family with Miranda in 1994, Jackson in 2000 and
ended with Asheton in 2001.
Michelle has been at Acworth UMC since 1998 first as an overzealous volunteer,
then as the first Children's and Family Ministries Director on staff.
Michelle loves kids and strives to be one herself!
Michelle's likes are: hanging with my family, going to the movies
staying in my jimmies all day, loud music, dancing and shopping with her
friends, the color ORANGE, driving fast in my convertible, stuffed animals.
Michelle's dislikes are: (most) country music, sitting in the backseat
driving down the road (major motion sickness), a messy house (my house),
runny noses, public bathrooms, (eeewwww!) diets, feeling lonely.
The reason I am in the Ministry: "To ensure that every child grows up with
the knowledge that they are loved everyday of their life, no matter how old
they are or how they feel about themselves. They are valuable to God, thus
more valuable than anything on earth. Children are gifts that should be
held tight, loved and cultivated into something that shines (the light of
Christ). Giving each child the knowledge that they are loved "the bestest"
is the most wonderful gift there is to give and receive. That is why I am
in ministry!"
