"ANGEL MINISTRY"

All of God's children are special and have needs,and all of children have gifts to be used to His Glory! Needs are met and Gifts are Realized!

We have been blessed with the opportunity to begin a new ministry. This past summer (04) we offered two special needs camps and hope to do the same for summers to come. We have also just begun our "Angels' Wings" Sunday School classes. We have a 9:30 and 11:00 class. Classes are called:  Angels' Wings SS at 9:30, Angels' Wings SS at 11:00 These are pre-registered classes and are intended for children functioning on a mild-moderate scale.  These classes have provided us the opportunity to present God's love to all the children attending Acworth UMC. As we have prayed in preparation for this new ministry, we truly have felt God's presence. We have learned that while meeting the needs of these and all children, we must strive to focus on their gifts. God has granted all of HIS children gifts--we must make it a point to search for each gift and put it to work for God's glory! (Participants in the Angels' Wings Sunday School classes must be pre_registered before attanding; this is to ensure proper leader to student ratio and to provide preparation for each student involved.)
