Juicy July" in the Food Pantry

With summer in full swing ,the food pantry continues to provide meals for many families. We have had several "new" families come to us this past month, increasing our numbers even more. Once again, because of all the donations from the congregation and the community, we have not had to turn anyone away due to lack of food. However, as well as our usual items we are in need of juices. Therefore, we are putting out requests for a "Juicy July." Any kind of juice will be wonderful.

Also as the months go on, you may notice our shopping cart popping up in your Sunday school room. Don't be shy! "Park your cans" right in the basket. We hope to place the basket in a new Sunday school room the first of each month for the entire month. Special thanks to The Encouragers for all their donations during the month of May. Thank you to The Seekers who are keeping it full for the month June. Wonder where it will end up in July? The wheels on the cart have a mind of there own, but if your class is interested in a specific month, I am sure I can
push it that way. Just call the church office and they will let me know.

Our pantry has had a makeover. We have made some changes to help streamline our distribution process. It makes it very easy for anyone to volunteer. Stop in, say hi, get a hug and spend some time with us. You may feel a calling to become a "pantry pal." We are open every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00. I promise, you will come away humbled and your heart full!

.....He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you helped His people and continue to help them. (Hebrews 6:10)

Basket of Blessings,
'Rene
